Winter Wreath Coloured

The second of the templates I posted yesterday has been coloured.  I went with a cooler colour palette than I would usually choose.

Coloured using Caran D’Ache Luminance pencils and a blending solution was used, which actually brought out the colours beautifully!

I also forgot to mention that these wreaths were drawn in Autodesk Sketchbook on my Microsoft Surface Book.

Winter/Christmas Wreath Colouring Pages

I know that for most of you it’s a busy time of year.  So, I’d like to share a couple of colouring templates to help calm you, even if it’s for just a few minutes.

Many studies have been done that show colouring to be as relaxing and therapeutic as meditation, even if you do it for just a few minutes!

All I ask is that you don’t share the uncoloured images, and that if you share coloured images you provide a link back to either this page or my facebook page.  Oh, and the images are for personal use only, not for commercial use in any way.

Enjoy!

And here’s one I coloured!

Peace in colour

All coloured, using Chameleon pens.

Peace

peace-sign-by-angela-porter

Last week, someone on my facebook page asked if I had a peace sign design.  I didn’t, but I do now, as you can see above.

If you’d like to download the image to print and colour for personal use (no selling on, no publishing in other places without express permission from me), please visit my facebook page!  I hold the copyright to the image and all the legal stuff that goes with that!

I admit, the lines are thick on this one, but then it will, hopefully, end up looking like stained glass!

All I ask, is that if you do colour it, please share an image of the coloured design with me either here or on my facebook page, or on instagram – I really do love to see how people interpret my designs and bring them to life with colour!

More new books!

In June 2016 I have two more colouring books coming out from Skyhorse Publishing.

Color Me Stamps!

I have designed sets of clear stamps for Hampton Arts.  The range is called ‘Color Me by Angela Porter’.  It’s been a lovely challenge to do, and another string to my artistic bow too.

I’m being sent my own sets of the stamps and I can’t wait to play with them and embossing powder in particular to get the ‘stained glass’ kind of colours that I so love!

Of course I’ll post my versions here.  It’s all exciting for me!  Everything!

2nd August 2015 is Colouring Day

nationalcoloringbookdaylogo

Get your pens, pencils, crayons and paints out and lose yourself for a little while in colouring a template and/or filling it with patterns.  Turn off the technology, give yourself some time and space.

One of my designs from Entangled is available to download for this event from Dover Publishing’s Colouring Day page, as are other gorgeous designs, as well as a specially designed one for the day.

Owl-1

You can also download one of my owls from Color Me Happy via Hobbycraft.

I’d love to see what you do with them, I really would!

I’m honestly and truthfully amazed by this.  It’s way beyond what I ever expected for my art and for a coloring book aimed at adults with the idea of using the images for a break from the everyday hustle and bustle of life.

Thank you to all who have purchased the book and made it such a success.

Thank you to all who believed in me to get me started on this journey – Jeannine Dillon at Race Point Publishing (part of Quartos Publishing Group), Jason Schneider at Creative Haven by Dover Publishing, Claire Cater at Michael O’Mara Books, and all the friends who have been so supportive (you know who you are!)
